If you’re looking for the most Parisian and girly-cute looking place to do your nails, then Gloss’Up is the right place for you! So when Gloss’Up invited me to try it, I couldn’t say no.
I’m gonna be honest, I’m not the most adventurous gal’ when it comes to nails, as my go-to is either nude or red. So the Baby Boomer was the next step level for me! But first, what is Baby Boomer? Also known as French ombré or French fade, the Baby Boomer nail trend is basically a new take on the classic French manicure. While the traditional French mani features a light pink base with defined, contrasting tips, Baby Boomer nails blend the pink or beige and white together, creating a seamless, gradient effect. And it is absolutely beautiful! What I like the most about this trend is that the ombré effect helps elongate your nails and gives them a very delicate and classy look. It’s the perfect blend of minimal nail art and the classic French manicure!
The other awesome nail service that Gloss’Up offers and that I can’t wait to do is a Detox Mani! Inspired by Japanese manicures it is ideal for restoring nails after too many nail polish sessions and when it’s cold. The treatment includes a nail bath salt to soften and clean the outlines of the nails, nails shaping, cleaning the cuticles, and the Detox Mani protocol with two pastes to polish that are enriched with a high concentration of natural active ingredients: ceramides, zinc, beeswax, algae extracts, bamboo, red tea, jojoba, ylang-yalng! And the final step: hand mask and hand massage!
My overall experience was very nice, and it felt like i spent time with some friends chatting and laughing while I was getting my nails done, this is how everybody at the salon is nice and welcoming. And what can I say about my new nails, besides that I LOVE THEM! Baby Boomer is definitely my new go to manicure. Plus if you want long nails, you can also do a flash extension (capsules) or a gel manicure as I did in addition to your Baby Boomer, to have perfect nails for weeks!
