Long time no see my lovelies! If you follow me on Instagram (@frompariswithlove_byniloufar) you are probably more up-to-date than here with my life and what’s going on! Long story short, I came back from New York a couple of months ago and I’m adjusting back to my Parisian life with my Siberian Husky, Aisling. I’ll make another post about our life in Manhattan, NY probably later on when everything will be settled down. But for now, back to one of my favorite topics, with my new perfume obsession: Prada Infusion d’Amande Eau de Parfum.<\/p>\n

If you are a long-time follower of mine (back then with Mademoiselle Futile), then you probably know I’m very picky and specific with my perfume. I envy people who have 5 to 10 perfumes and rotate between them depending on their moods! I’m very, very faithful to my perfume. I don’t like overpowering and ultra-feminine sents like the Dior, Chanel, or Lanc\u00f4me ones. They give me a headache and give me the sensation that the perfume is wearing me if that makes sense. And I couldn’t find anything on the niche perfume side either as they are quite heavy and strong-scented.\u00a0 I’m more into delicate, light, and second-skin fragrances. I like it when someone says “Mhhh… you smell good” but without being able to point out a fragrance or a brand.<\/p>\n

As so, my very first perfume was Lolita Lempicka Premier Parfum<\/span>. Every time I sprayed it on, a beautiful cocooning feeling took all over me. I wore that perfume for more than a decade!\u00a0 But I had to give up on it a couple of years ago because they changed the formula and it doesn’t have the same fragrance. Hopefully, I found another gem, Over the Musk by Thierry Mugler<\/a> <\/span>from the Collection priv\u00e9e: Les Exceptions. OMG, this perfume smelled so nice! But my misfortune hit again as the brand discontinued this specific fragrance from their collection. The search for a new perfume started again and after a few months, I came across the Prada corner at Le Printemps Lafayette!<\/p>\n

Each one triggers a reminiscence that is fleeting and intimate, intense and subtle. And the one that steeled my heart when I first smelled it was: Prada Infusion d’Amande Eau de Parfum. A delicate almond accord immersed in a signature solution of musks and citrus that recreates the enveloping scent of skin. The top note is Bergamote, the heart note is Star Anise and the base notes are Almond Accord and Sandalwood. And let me tell you, I’m in love with this perfume! It smells so nice, light, and delicate that it’s a suitable fragrance for both summer and winter time! In one word, I’m obsessed!<\/p>\n
