I feel so good and happy when the weather is warm and sunny. When it\u2019s cold and grey, however, I definitely feel a shift in my mood and energy levels. It took me some time to figure out with the help of my doctor that I was suffering from seasonal depression. So if you&#8217;re really struggling with the winter weather and feel down when you see the gloomy and cold day ahead, keep reading!<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #808080;\"><em>Si vous me suivez depuis longtemps, vous savez sans doute que le printemps mais surtout l&#8217;\u00e9t\u00e9 sont mes saisons pr\u00e9f\u00e9r\u00e9es. Je me sens bien et heureuse lorsque le temps est au beau fixe, le ciel est bleu et le soleil brille. Mais lorsqu&#8217;il fait gris, pluvieux, je sents tout de suite un changement d&#8217;humeur et une baisse directe d&#8217;\u00e9n\u00e9rgie. Je me sens tr\u00e8s abattue, je suis trsite et je n&#8217;ai envie de rien faire. Il m&#8217;a fallu beaucoup de temps avant de savoir que ce dont je souffrais s&#8217;appelait : la depression saisonni\u00e8re. Et de trouver les moyens de mieux vivre cela en attendant le retour des beaux jours. Donc, si comme moi, vous avez du mal avec le temps pourri de l&#8217;hiver et vous ne vous sentez pas en forme, continuez \u00e0 lire !\u00a0<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><span style=\"color: #e38190;\">Light therapy<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>During the wintertime, the number one thing we are missing is natural light. We get up when it&#8217;s dark, and we are not yet out of the office that it is dark again! It has scientifically been proven that the lack of light can really affect your mood. So on the advice of my doctor, I invested in a light therapy from Philips.\u00a0It consists of exposing your eyes and face to a light with a high luminance of up to 10,000 lux and a color close to natural daylight for 20\/30 minutes every day. You can easily do so while checking your emails in the morning, or scrolling through your Instagram for example. And I really saw a change by using it.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #808080;\"><em>Durant l&#8217;hiver, la chose dont nous manquons le plus est la lumi\u00e8re naturelle. On se l\u00e8ve il fait nuit et le temps qu&#8217;on sorte du bureau il fait d\u00e9j\u00e0 nuit aussi ! Il a \u00e9t\u00e9 scientifiquement prouv\u00e9 que le manque de lumi\u00e8re pouvait affecter et impacter notre humeur. Alors, avec le conseil de mon medecin, j&#8217;ai investi dans un appareil de luminoth\u00e9rapie de chez Philips. Cela consiste a exposer son visage et ses yeux \u00e0 une luminescence de 10 000 lux d&#8217;une couleur proche de la lumi\u00e8re du jour naturel pendant 20 \u00e0 30 minutes tous les jours. Vous pouvez le faire facilement le matin quand vous consultez vos mails par exemple ou lorsque vous scrollez sur Instagram.\u00a0<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><span style=\"color: #e38190;\">Wake up light simulator<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you struggle getting up every morning no matter if you slept for 8 hours straight, then I have the solution for you. See for me, it was so hard to just get my eyes open in the morning even if I slept well the night before. The wake-up light literally changed my life and I can&#8217;t live without it anymore in the wintertime. How does it work? Inspired by the natural sunrise, the\u00a0light gradually increases within 30 minutes until your room is filled with bright yellow light. This process of increasing light mirroring a sunrise stimulates your body to wake up naturally. And bonus, it also has a\u00a0Sunset Simulation for relaxing bedtime! \u00a0I&#8217;m in love with it, and it has made my morning so much easier you can&#8217;t even imagine!<\/p>\n<p><span><span style=\"color: #808080;\"><i>Si vous avez du mal \u00e0 vous reveiller et \u00e0 vous lever le matin, et cela malgres vos 8h de sommeil, j&#8217;ai la solution parfaite pour vous ! It&#8217;s actually estimated that about 1 billion people worldwide have low levels of vitamin D in their blood. But before\u00a0rushing on the supplements, go to your doctor who will prescribe you a blood test. Which can also help you to know if you have any other deficiency too.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #808080;\"><em>Li\u00e9e aux points pr\u00e9c\u00e9dents, une carence en vitamine D (qui provient de l&#8217;exposition au soleil) peut entra\u00eener fatigue, baisse de moral et m\u00eame une depression. Even if is for running a little errand. Fortunately for me, \u00a0I live with my baby husky. \u00a0So no matter what, we go out multiple times a day in the woods, at the dog park or just in the city.
